Saban Surgery Successful: Doctor

College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl - Alabama v Oklahoma

Alabama coach Nick Saban's hip replacement surgery was a success, and a fully recovery is expected, his doctor said Monday. In a statement, Dr. Lyle Cain with Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center, said Saban, 67, was resting comfortably, following the robotic-assisted procedure. "He should be able to return to work in the very near future, and we'll have him back on the golf course, with hopefully a few more yards off the tee, as soon as possible," Cain said.
