Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin Tuesday claimed the state's new abortion ban is bad for business. Woodfin says the law caused a tech firm to decide against coming to the city. "[The law] has an adverse and negative ripple effect, " Woodfin said. He did not identify the company, citing a non-disclosure agreement. Gov. Kay Ivey has said the law reflects Alabama's values, and added that she's not worried about a backlash.
