Roy Moore Tuesday weighed in on next year's Senate race, and received a pointed response from a member of the First Family. The former Alabama chief justice tweeted that, if he runs, he will beat Sen. Doug Jones (D-Mountain Brook). Donald Trump Jr. then tweeted back: "You mean like last time? You’re literally the only candidate who could lose a GOP seat in pro-Trump, pro-USA ALABAMA. Running for office should never become a business model. If you actually care about #MAGA more than your own ego, it's time to ride off into the sunset, Judge." The tweets came amid reports Moore is considering jumping into the race. Declared Republican candidates include: Rep. Bradley Byrne (R-Fairhope), former Auburn football coach Tommy Tuberville, and state Rep. Arnold Mooney (R-Meadowbrook).
