Alabama dropped to No. 5 in the second CFP rankings released Tuesday night. The Crimson Tide fell from No. 3 after Saturday's 46-41 loss to undefeated LSU, which held the top spot. Georgia, which lost to South Carolina (4-6, 3-4 SEC), was bumped to No.4, following a 27-0 win over Missouri. The committee cited Georgia's two win over AP top-25 opponents, Notre Dame and Florida. Ohio State was ranked No. 2, and Clemson No. 3.
