Republican Senate candidate Tommy Tuberville says he will attend President Trump's White House speech accepting his party's nomination for another term. The president was scheduled to deliver remarks from the South Lawn. "I believe that Donald Trump is the best president to serve in my lifetime," Tuberville said. "I have come to know him as a friend, so being on hand as he accepts our party's nomination will be a humbling and historic experience." The president has been an enthusiastic supporter of Tuberville, who faces vulnerable Sen. Doug Jones (D-Mountain Brook) in November.
