Former Alabama football standout Tua Tagovailoa Monday has been named starting quarterback of the Miami Dolphins. Tagovailoa made his NFL debut in Sunday's win over the New York Jets. Tagovailoa's first NFL start, on Nov. 1 against the LA Rams, will come nearly a year after his hip injury in the Alabama-Mississippi State game. Reflecting on her son's journey, Tagovailoa's mother, Diane, said that "every little step has been a victory, it's been surreal."
