Alabama will not be imposing new restrictions in response to the latest wave of coronavirus cases. Gov. Kay Ivey Wednesday made it clear: the state is open for business. "We are not closing any businesses, closing is not the right way to go, and Alabama is ... going to keep our businesses open," Ivey said. The governor also announced a $200-million dollar grant program to help small businesses, non-profits, and faith-based organizations that have suffered business interruption expenses. The grants provide up to $20-thousand dollars. For more information, go to: crf.alabama.gov
