Galleria Baby Rescue Leads to Charges

The grandmother of a baby found alone in a locked car outside the Galleria is now facing charges. Hoover police say they're charging Jocelyn Parrish, 42, with endangering the welfare of a child. But she's also facing drug and weapons charges after officers say they found narcotics and a gun in her car. Police officers and firefighters forced their way into the car and rescued the baby on Wednesday, after someone spotted the child and called 911. Officers say they found Parrish in the mall with three other children. Parrish is being held on $210-thousand dollars bond.
