FedEx Packages Tossed in Blount County Ravine

Hundreds of missing FedEx packages have been found in a Blount County ravine, authorities said Wednesday. The discovery involved 300-400 boxes of assorted sizes, the sheriff's office said. Sheriff Mark Moon said Wednesday evening that FedEx dispatched multiple trucks and drivers, and were in the process of loading the parcels. A deputy was being posted until the work is complete, Moon said. There was no immediate word on why the packages were dumped in the ravine.
