Alabama AG Scores Victory in Biden Vaccine Mandate Fight

Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall Tuesday won a nationwide injunction barring President Biden's controversial vaccine mandate targeting healthcare workers. A federal judge ruled in Marshall's favor and granted a preliminary injunction in a case filed by Marshall and attorneys general from 13 other states. "President Biden has abandoned persuasion for brute force in launching an unprecedented series of federal mandates aimed at compelling most of the adult population of the United States to get a COVID-19 vaccine, but his unlawful, unconstitutional and un-American decrees are being met head-on in court by the force of law," Marshall said. The order, from the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, prohibits the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) from implementing the mandate requiring healthcare workers to get vaccinated or lose their jobs.
