Ivey Criticizes Reporters For Spreading Rumors

Gov. Kay Ivey Monday said she has a "clean bill of health," and criticized members of the media. "It seems like some of you just want to will these rumors into reality ... but I assure you I am fine. Everyday I thank God for giving me a clean bill of health," Ivey said during an appearance at a school in Montgomery. It was her first scheduled public appearance in nearly three weeks. The governor did not confirm nor deny a medical procedure or hospital stay during that time. Ivey, 77, said she feels fine, and looks forward to serving another four years as governor.
