Ivey Proclaims "Ronald Reagan Day" in Alabama

Gov. Kay Ivey proclaimed Monday "Ronald Reagan Day" in Alabama. The former president was born on Feb. 6, 1911. Ivey says it's a time to "remember and celebrate President Reagan for his tireless work establishing freedom, promoting patriotism, restoring the American Dream and leaving an iconic, lasting legacy that continues to inspire." Reagan carried Alabama in both the 1980 and 1984 presidential elections.
