Alabama claimed the top spot in Monday's AP men's college basketball poll, two days after defeating Auburn on the road. Alabama remains undefeated in SEC play (12-0), and 22-3 on the season. The SEC record is approaching the program's all-time best (14-0) from the 1955-56 season, while the overall record ties the 1975-76 team after 25 games played. Brandon Miller was named SEC Freshman of the Week.
