Suspect Charged in Shooting of Shelby County Deputies

The man accused of shooting two Shelby County deputies is facing attempted murder charges. Authorities say John "Jack" Thomason opened fire on the deputies Wednesday morning, after breaking into his parents' Meadowbrook home. The deputies were released from the hospital hours after the attack. Thomason is being held at the Shelby County Jail on bonds totaling more than a million dollars.
