Alabama's Republican congressmen are unifying behind House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) in his bid to be the next Speaker of the House. Reps. Mike Rogers (R-Saks), Robert Aderholt (R-Haleyville), and Dale Strong (R-Huntsville) all threw their support to Jordan on Monday, a day before a scheduled floor vote. Rogers -- who serves as Chairman of the Armed Services Committee -- had been an outspoken opponent of Rogers as recently as Friday. The floor vote is scheduled for Tuesday.
