Man Charged With Impersonating Officer

Alabama Law Enforcement officials Friday arrested a man suspected of impersonating an officer. A woman driver said she was pulled over on I-59 in Trussville this week by a man in a silver pickup truck with flashing lights, who claimed to be an officer. The woman said the man told her she could be taken to jail for reckless driving and speeding, and that authorities would impound her car. He declined to show a badge, according to the driver, who said the man identified himself as "Officer Rogan." State troopers arrested 72-year old John Milhorn of Springville, and charged him with impersonating a peace officer. He was booked into the Jefferson County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
