Threats Force Lockdown at Hoover High School

Threats led to a lockdown at Hoover High School on Thursday, police said. School Resource Officers were notified of the presence of a suspicious person on campus who was threatening violence, according to investigtors. A lockdown went into effect, and officers say they detained the suspect, who is a student. The lockdown was lifted, after authorities determined there was no threat to the campus, and students were dismissed. An investigation is ongoing.
