Australian tennis player Arina Rodionova announced her divorce from her husband, ex-Australian Football League player Ty Vickery, in an Instagram post on Wednesday (January 22) that coincided with the launch of her OnlyFans account.
Rodionova revealed that she and Vickery, who had been married for nine years, had been separated for a year.
“Hey guys, we have a quick announcement to make, we’re getting divorced,” Rodionova said nonchalantly in the Instagram video.
“We’re good, we’re good with each other, wish each other the best,” Vickery added before Rodionova awkwardly reached out for a handshake to Vickery, who placed a half-eaten banana in her hand.
Rodionova followed up her video with an Instagram story in which she appeared to be leaving her home country.
“Bye Australia, love you always,” she wrote.
Rodionova, who was eliminated from the Australian Open Qualifiers earlier this month in a straight-set loss to Eva Lys of Germany, had previously confirmed the launch of her OnlyFans account after sharing several recent posts in risqué poses and racy acts, which led to rumors of the divorce spreading prior to the couple's confirmation.
“Good news for everyone who was asking. My OnlyFans account was confirmed so here we go. Let’s do this,” she wrote in an Instagram post shared on January 12.
Rodionova describes herself as "a tennis player but a fun one" on her newly launched OnlyFans account.
