A Hoover High School employee was arrested on a charge of distributing obscene material, authorities said. 51-year old Darrell Wade Alldredge of Odenville, a maintenance man, was placed on administrative leave and banned from school property. He was taken into custody at the school Thursday, investigators said. The charges, according to court documents, involved images of underage girls. The school system says it is cooperating with the investigation, which is being led by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. Alldredge is free on bonds totaling $60,000.
